Tasting results

Chocolate tasting was really great experience. Wonderful atmosphere plus the best of the best - porcelanas from Coppeneur, Amedei, Domori.

Our final ranking :
1. Amedei Porcelana (italian chocolatier, beans from Venezuela)
2. Coppeneur Porcelana - Mexico (german chocolatier, beans from Mexico)
3. Domori Porcelana

My own ranking :
1. Amedei Porcelana
2. Coppeneur Porcelana - Mexico
3. Amedei Chuao

Mexican Porcelana from Coppeneur was voted the best debut in 2008 :) It comes together with edition from Venezuela - only 750 boxes being produced this year. Coppeneur Porcelana from Venezuela was a little bit disappointing. I believe that Coppeneur will be working hard to get better results in the future.

Amedei Porcelana

For me, it will be Porcelana week! Yesterday I ordered two beautiful Amedei Porcelana 50g bars. Probably my chocolate journey would never start without Amedei and its limited premium chocolate series. There are only 20 000 hand numbered bars a year! It's made of the rarest cocoa bean, criollo porcelana. I'm invited to attend chocolate tasting on Tuesday - very special one, with two - Mexico/Venezuela - porcelanas from Coppeneur, Amedei Chuao and of course Amedei Porcelana. For sure it will be important experience.
